CBD oil is a substance derived from the cannabis plant containing high amounts of the organic compound cannabidiol. Cannabidiol (CBD) is 1 of over 80 natural compounds (cannabinoids) found in cannabis. Other cannabinoids are CBG,CBN, and CBV. All cannabinoids have inherent healing properties.
CBD primarily interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system, a grouping of millions of receptors found throughout your body. While CBD is a phytocannabinoid, or plant-based cannabinoid, your body also naturally produces these compounds, known as endocannabinoids. Almost every organ of your body, including your skin and digestive tract, contains these receptors. The endocannabinoid system has four primary purposes including neuroprotection, stress relief, immune response, and regulating the body’s general state of balance, impacting faculties such as appetite, sleep, mood, and pain.
Yes, CBD Oil and all CBD products are legal in all 50 states when grown and manufactured in accordance with Section 7606 of the 2014 Federal Farm Bill. All of our products contain less than .3% THC and are in compliance with Federal and state law.
There is a small potential that an isolate CBD product could cause a false positive for THC in a drug test. Generally this is associated with acids within the test affecting the molecular structure of the CBD compound. Additionally, heavy use of full spectrum products over an extended period of time may cause a build-up of trace amounts of actual THC resulting in a failed drug test. Limit use of CBD products if drug testing is a concern.
CBD isolate is the CBD molecule separated from the the rest of the natural compounds it normally occurs with in the cannabis plant. An isolate product contains cannibidiol and does not contain any other cannabinoid. Full Spectrum products not only contain cannabidiol, but also contain the other 80+ cannabinoids found in cannabis. These other compounds enhance the effects of CBD, while also providing medical benefits of there own.
